I recently had the pleasure of staying at Quinta Da Pousada in Santa Marta de Penaguiao for a business trip, as chosen by my director. The hotel exceeded all expectations and left me thoroughly impressed.
It rained during my stay in October and was a bit chilly, hindering my ability to engage in outdoor activities.

The treatments and care provided by Germaine de Capuccini were exceptional. I had the chance to contemplate the breathtaking landscape of Douro while enjoying wonderful massages. These treatments managed to restore my physical and energetic balance of body, mind, and soul. The experienced therapists at Quinta Da Pousada truly have healing hands, and their specific treatments ensured balance to all my senses. Surrendering to their care was an absolute delight.
If I'm really fussy, some of the lounge chairs by the pool were a little 'used' and could do with being replaced, but the beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space to choose from.

During my recent business trip to Santa Marta de Penaguiao, I had the pleasure of staying at Quinta Da Pousada, a hotel chosen by my director. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional treatments and care provided by Germaine de Capuccini. The massages were truly wonderful and managed to restore my physical and energetic balance, leaving me feeling rejuvenated. Surrendering to the healing hands of experienced therapists through specific treatments and individual body massage programs was an absolute delight. These massages ensured balance for all my senses, allowing me to truly contemplate the breathtaking landscape of Douro.
The only minor drawback I encountered during my stay at Quinta Da Pousada was that the optional dinner menu was a bit on the pricy side for what it offered.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist us. the apartment we stayed in had stunning views, especially from the balcony. the meals at the restaurant were delicious and generous, with home-cooked dishes that satisfied our appetites.
There were a couple of downsides to our stay. the road to the hotel was not well illuminated and lacked reflectors, making it risky to drive there at night.

I recently had an absolutely fabulous stay at a charming vineyard property. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm welcome and excellent service from Carlos and Antonio. the tranquil atmosphere and stunning 360-degree views of the landscape and gardens were breathtaking. the accommodation was spacious, beautifully decorated, and kept impeccably clean. the breakfast and dinner options were delightful, with a great variety of dishes to choose from. I also had the opportunity to experience wine and port wine tastings, which were made even more enjoyable by the amazing presenter, Carlos. this was one of the nicest and most wholesome stays I have had during my travels around the world. Cons: Nothing for me 😊.

The accessibility of the hotel was excellent, with clear pathways and elevators that made it easy for me to navigate the property.

The single room at Quinta Da Pousada was cozy and welcoming, making me feel right at home. It had a charming old-world feel that brought a sense of peace and tranquility. As a light sleeper, I appreciated the comfortable bed and quiet atmosphere, ensuring a good night's sleep.
Personally, I found the lack of a kitchen in the single room a bit inconvenient. However, others may still enjoy the dining options available and not mind this at all.

We had the most amazing Easter getaway! The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful vineyards and countryside. The views were breathtaking from every angle. The interior design was tasteful and comfortable, creating a cozy atmosphere. One of the highlights was the warm welcome from the staff, who went above and beyond to make our stay special. We particularly enjoyed the wine tasting experience, where we got to taste a variety of delicious wines and learn about the winemaking process. Another great advantage was the opportunity to explore the vineyards and take in the beauty of the surroundings.
We did encounter a couple of issues during our stay. the shower in our bathroom had very low pressure, which made it difficult to enjoy a proper shower.

We embarked on a breathtaking journey through the stunning Douro valley, immersing ourselves in the vibrant vineyards and indulging in the most delectable cuisine. The combination of picturesque landscapes, exquisite local wines, and mouth-watering dishes created an unforgettable experience. Our children were fascinated by the vineyard tour, learning about winemaking and exploring the lush surroundings. It was a perfect blend of relaxation, education, and culinary delights, making this family trip truly memorable.
My children wanted more kid-friendly activities available on-site.
